JVC Recertified as an IRMA Anti-Piracy Certified plant.
JVC Disc America Co. has voluntarily completed the rigorous certification process that includes a series of independent audits of their programs as required by the Anti-Piracy Compliance Standards. These procedures were developed by IRMA in conjunction with a broad cross-section of organizations representing the interests of intellectual property owners. IRMA Anti-Piracy Certification ensures your intellectual property is protected from piracy during the media manufacturing process. IRMA's Anti-Piracy Compliance Program is modeled after the ISO 9000 Program, which is a series of generic international standards for quality management and quality assurance. Unlike ISO 9000, however, the IRMA Anti-Piracy Compliance Program contains specific guidelines for the optical media industry regarding anti-piracy. Through internal audits and regularly scheduled surveillance audits, the IRMA Anti-Piracy Compliance Program is able to uphold the standards for self-regulation required by today's customers. |
